Granny Betty Butler’s Famous Birthday Sponge Cake always a favourite
For 50 years David’s mam Betty has produced the finest dinners, tarts, cakes for her youngest. Celebrating his 50th birthday was no different as Betty (82) made her famous jam and cream sponge cake as the tradition continues. Never one to compliment her own cooking, granny Betty always finds some little fault.
